TSOTSI (2005)

Involved since June 2005, Mia served as marketing/distribution consultant from completion to worldwide release. She was responsible for arranging the film's debut and promotion at the 2005 Edinburgh and Toronto Film Festivals and was key in the sales process, co-ordinating worldwide marketing and distribution with the international distributors as well as servicing and following up all international releases. The film won a 2006 Academy Award, Audience Awards at Edinburgh, Toronto, Denver Festivals, a Golden Globe nomination, and the Michael Powell Award at Edinburgh. Miramax released in the U.S Feb 26 2006 and Momentum in the UK on March 17 2006.

BLINDSIGHT (2006)

BLINDSIGHT is the inspiring new documentary feature by Lucy Walker (the award winning DEVILS PLAYGROUND) produced by Sybil Robson Orr and Steven Haft, premiered Fall 2006. It screened at at Toronto and London 2006 Film Festivals and won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at AFI 2006 and Palm Springs 2007.

It went on to also receive the Audience Award at Berlin 2007 Festival, and is released in North American and internationally in Spring 2008

RUNNING STUMBLED (2006)

RUNNING STUMBLED, is the acclaimed indie doc by John Maringouin.

Mia has secured a UK theatrical release at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) on Friday July 27th 2007, with a director Q & A preview on Mon 23rd July.  

The film has screened at the 2006/07 Rotterdam, Buenos Aires, CineVegas Las Vegas, Pesaro, Melbourne, Galway, London, and True/False Film Festivals.
